Wy Bro. Chris Swain, R.I.P.

Brethren all, this email from Loge Erasmus:

"It is with profound regret that I have to announce the ascent into the Grand Lodge Above of Worthy Br.:. Chris Swain, at 6.34p.m. this evening, 17 February 2007.

You may already be aware that Br.: Chris had a heart condition that required occasional surgery. Earlier today he presented for a scheduled surgical procedure. Unfortunately, during that procedure, his heart stopped for several minutes, and whilst he responded to resuscitation, he later died in the Intensive Care Unit in Bangkok.

A number of Brethren are now in discussion with those nearest and dearest to Br.: Chris over the funeral arrangements. I have agreed to act as the co-ordinator, and will on Sunday provide Brethren with further details of the arrangements."

A few photos of Bro. Swain are available on the Thai Freemason web site.
