Freemasonry in the News
ABC News (US) recently did a segment on Freemasonry. The reporter is borderline paranoid, but the report also includes some great quotes from Stephen Bullock and Margaret Jacob. All this seems to be done in preparation for Dan Brown's upcoming book on the Craft.

Hello!
Hello there. Well, lodges typically take a break over the summer...and I guess I did too. Nevertheless, the break's over and its time to get back to work!
Lodge Pattaya West Winds, No. 1803 SC will hold a special meeting on 9 September. The Mark Degree will be conducted during this meeting. The Scottish Constitution is the only one I know of that allows the Mark Degree to be conferred either in a Mark Degree Lodge or in Blue Lodge. Should be fascinating to watch and a great excuse to drop down to Pattaya for the weekend.
The website has a new update. Bro. Michael Doyle of Lodge St John has graciously provided an essay on foreign investment in Thailand. This provides his viewpoint on the recent changes to Thai law and their impact on foreign investors. Check it out.
